Advantages of the No Bubble TURP set

As a doctor, you’ll know the value of really listening.

That’s exactly what we did when creating our best selling No-Bubble TURP Irrigation set. It’s the culmination of many conversations with experienced urology nurses who shared all the frustrations they experienced with other devices on the market – so we listened and improved.

One of the benefits includes spikes attached directly to the drip chamber making piercing of the bag easier.

Another benefit is the drip chambers equipped with kinetic energy dispersers. These reduce the number of bubbles that enter the set during rapid irrigation by splitting and directing the fluid stream onto the inner surface of the walls. The walls of the chamber are constantly washed on during the use of the device, preventing misting of the drip chamber even if warm fluids are used, while maintaining a good flow rate.

We designed our No Bubble TURP irrigation set to be used intra-operatively and post-operatively. During the TURP procedure, the colour coded pinch clamps (red and blue) are located in sterile field. The surgeon or scrub nurse can make an easy switch from empty to full bag. They are large enough to be opened and closed with just one hand.

And after the procedure, the tubing can be easily separated and the clamps conveniently moved just under the drip chamber to facilitate post-operative irrigation.
