Pawel Wisniewski
Pawel founded Wismed in 2001 and is a practicing anesthesiologist. His intention remains to harness the power of thoughtful design in order to alleviate the challenges of modern medicine. Aside from connecting people, and building businesses based on sustainability, he’s passionate about designing solutions. Pawel takes pride in designing solutions that are not only intuitive, but also not overly engineered.
Pawel seeks to develop solutions that are minimalistic but also optimally functional. This balance of design principles finds its foundation in over 30 years of experience as a medical practitioner. By using the operating theatre as an observational platform, Pawel identifies solutions to challenges that create safer and easier practices.
Kira Wisniewski
Kira has been with Wismed since its inception, and has managed the company’s financial wellbeing ever since. As a qualified pathologist she’s extrapolated her immaculate attention to detail to the running of Wismed. This aptitude, along with her desire to make life more harmonious, has placed her at the head of the company’s financial matters.
Her sound conservatism and deep sense of justice guard principles of ethical business practice. In this sense she is a guardian of fairness, both within the company and, in international relationships.
Veruchka Narismulu
With a qualification in Bio-Technology with majors in Chemistry and Microbiology and 10 years experience in pharmaceutical quality and regulatory affairs, Veruchka is the QA / RA Manager at Wismed.
Veruchka has meticulous attention to detail and extensive understanding of various regulations and guidelines required to ensure effective quality management systems are in place at Wismed.

Dessie is the Marketing whiz, she creates communications strategies to ensure Wismed is the top choice for leading medical specialists.
She brings her talent for writing beautiful copy, an inquisitive mind and loves making true human connections. Her work brings her meaning and joy by creating awareness for medical devices that provide safer practices, better surgical outcomes and improved quality of life for patients.
